Spring and Fog

In the wee hours of the morning Brian arrived home in Atlanta safe and sound. He even managed to get upgraded again on the flight home. Which is lucky for the guy, who would have sat infront of him in regular coach with an unusual amount of lumbar support. It appears, as I look out the window into dense fog, that Brian has taken the good weather home with him. Pretty much the entire time he was here we had brilliant sunshine. Ok, it was windy, but windy sunshine is much prefered to driving rain.

On Sunday we had a good southwest wind and the little purple car, recently dubbed the little-purple-raindrop was quite happy to have some help as it propelled us homewards. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but the LPR even managed to get up above the 80mph mark going around London.

Spring is definitely here. Most of the flowering trees have flowered. Now everywhere I look are these little pink and white tree blossoms. No wonder my alergies were going crazy. The daffodils are still blooming, some are just taking more time than others. The rest of the trees are still dormant and brown. Lack of leaves makes for excelent bird watching, as the birds are busy building nests and in general making as much racket as possible.

OK, now I'm ready for the warm temperatures.
