The cold winter
This winter has been remarkably colder than last winter. As I pulled open the curtains this morning I was again greeted by a hard frost covering the ground like a dusting of snow. I've woken up to the same picture almost every morning since I returned from Christmas break. And the strange thing is that I don't remember this kind of frost last year. I remember more wind last year, but not the frost. Maybe it is because we've had more sunshine and clear nights this winter.
