The Rain is Back
I knew the drought we'd been experiencing was too good to last, and so it came to and abrupt end last week. England has now resumed it's normal pattern of being battered by low pressure systems coming off of the atlantic. One after another, often multiple ones fighting to hit us.
Undeterred however Brian and I set off on a 7.5 mile hike yesterday in the countryside around Gloucester. The scenery was lovely and would have been even more so if the weather had cooperated. The good news is that it didn't rain hard, so we weren't soaked, but the trials weren't particularly well worn,so our feet did get rather wet. All in all it was a good time and good exercise. My knee held up well, and it was good to exercise that leg properly.
