Harry Potter and the Air Marshalls

Tomorrow is the release of the 5th Harry Potter book, which looks to be even bigger than the last book. Kids (big ones too) around the english speaking world have been waiting for two years for this book, and it will finally come out tomorrow! The news has been relatively quite about all of this, but yesterday the local news was over at the Amazon.com warehouse down the road from me where all of the books are being packaged. The reporter was under strict guidelines not to touch either the books or the pallets. The workers packing the books are allowed to touch the books, but not to open them. Crazy. Everyone will know soon enough.

In other news the cabin simulator here was use yesterday as a background for training of British Air Marshalls. I kid you not. We heard lots of "Drop the Gun, Put your hands in the air, You...Move, Stop Air Marshalls." All very interesting and done in complete secrecy, well except for the yelling, the cap guns going off and other strange noises. Funny thing is that I didn't know the Brits had an air marshall program, but the shouts certainly were british. So I look forward to reading about them in the future.
