The heat is coming
Yes, my hiatus from warm summers is coming to a close this weekend with predicted temperatures near 90. Craziness. But this is what happens when the rain stops. So I've donned shorts and skirts. Covered my scars with suncreen and thoroughly enjoyed my ride into work.
Yesterday went as most days do in a blurr of email, homework, class and projects. Yesterday was a bit interesting because I got my IRB certificate. This essentially allows me to participate in research involving human subjects. Karen is dangerous now.
Today I have an eye-exam where I get to see if I'm going blind, and how fast. Other than that not much going on here. We've had random Amy contact, but no briefings yet and no new pictures :(
