Several of you have written asking about the car. Well, it is going well. The owner and I have agreed on a price, and all that remains is to take the check to her, and pick up the car. All this should happen on Saturday between 1400 and 1500 hours GMT. After that, beware :)
International News
In other news litterally Cranfield made the national news last night. It seems that Cabair, the flying school on campus, had enrolled a member of Al-Quida. He was arrested in Bombay, and confessed after interrogation (of course he might of confessed to anything at that point). Apparently he was under orders to learn how to fly and to hijack a plane, and to fly into the houses of parliament.
It came as quite a shock to everyone here, mostly because after September 11, there had been a lot of joking about how if it had happened to the UK, the guy would have trained here. Pretty sobering thought to have a bad joke come true.
