Spring in Cranfield

Spring has begun creeping into Cranfield, you can see signs of it everywhere. Along the street and around trees daffodils are trying to bloom. Behind my house two trees are budding. The birds are making an awful racket, but some sing sweetly. The sun is staying out for a decent amount of time. Right now it rises about 6:45 and sets around 6. Pretty soon it will be light enough to go to the gym in the mornings. This is pretty much impossible in the winter because it is just so dark for so long all you want to do is sleep. It is still really cold here, but the presence of brilliant sunshine makes up for it.

One of the best things about the sun being up in the mornings is that we have a frosted glass window in our bathroom. So now if it isn't cloudy outside you can shower/bathe without turning any extra lights on. I love having the natural light in the bathroom. It is so much easier to wake up when you aren't squiting your eyes closed.

I suppose this won't last when they turn the clocks forward. Anyone know when we do that?

Ooh and for you Harry potter fans, I found a major discrepancy between the English and American versions of the books:) If you are intersted send me an email.
