Tour of 1 Lanchester Road
I thought some of you might like to get a better idea of where I live, so I've gone out and taken some pictures of the place (except the kitchen which was a disaster).
So let's start outside. Everyone remember this picture?
Ok, so the house is about 25 feet wide and 200 feet long (100 of it being our part). When you come in the front door you are standing in a small square entrance about 3ft square. If you look imediately to the left, you can go up the stairs to the second floor. (The stairs run along the front wall, and the two windows closest to the door are over the stairs.
The corner of the door you can see is mine. As you can see the upstairs hallway is open to the stairs below and the sunlight (when it is feeling generous). Below is a 360 degree view of my room (or most of it) As you can see the camera worked best when the windows weren't involved.

Walking out from my room, down the hallway towards the bathroom, if you look back this is what you would see.
So now you have walked the lenght of the hallway. The door opposite mine at the other end is the bathroom, literally a tub, sink, and shower mechanism. The toilet is conveniently separate. Both Lan and David's rooms are on the back of the house. Notice the separate hot and cold taps. This makes taking a bath very interesting, one frozen foot, one scalded foot.
The downstairs will come later when it is clean enough to be photographed...
