And the rains came
Wow, did we get a lot of rain yesterday. Brian and I walked our of the office towards home during what appeared to be a lull in the deluge. No sooner had we stepped outside than Brian announced,"not wet yet." This must have angered the British Rain god because at that moment the heavens opened up and rain pelted down. We made for the library awning and made it just in time. I didn't really think it was possible, but then it began to rain harder! Waterfalls developed off of the library roof and we were forced inside to avoid the back spray. Luckily I met one of Flo's friends hiding under the library awning. We called Flo to come and rescue us. Magically enough Flo had just gotten back to the house from dropping Lan off at work, but hadn't worked up the nerve to brave the rain and head into the house. So there he was infront of our house in his car when we called. Yeah Flo. It wasn't so much that Brian and I couldn't get wet, but that Brian's Laptop couldn't get wet that had us trapped.
In other good news, Becca and Sarah have finally purchased reasonably priced tickets here for September. My poor purple car will never be the same.
