Punting

This cannot be August. I just isn't hot enough. The whole purpos of having August is to make the weather so unbearable that you actually look forward to winter. The purpose is not to give you a preview of what winter will be like.
Dispite the lack of sunshine or warm weather over the weekend Brian and I managed to get out and about. On Saturday we went over to Cambridge to tour around for a bit. Got to walk through some of the colleges again and took at tour on a punt. A punt is similar to a gondola, except that it is flat on the bottom. You can choose to punt one along yourself, or have someone else punt for you. If the weather had been nicer, we would have punted one of our own, but the rain convinced us to let someone else do it. Of course while we were waiting for an available punt, it began to rain, and continued to rain for the next two hours. Thank goodness for our coats. Yesterday we went out cycling in Milton Keynes and had a good time.
