Chili sin carne

For those of you who are wondering the chili came off whithout a hitch. Everyone who tried it seemed to agree that it was rather good. It took quite a lot of reassurance that the chili wouldn't take anyone's lips off. This was especially true of anyone who had sampled from the Indian, Pakistani, and Nigerian tables before reaching mine. I made a double batch and was completely out of food 55 minutes in. This was of course better than most, who were out after only 25-30 minutes. The estimate was about 375 students tried to cram in for free food.

Once again my favoite dish were the chocolate balls made by the Brazillians. Mmmm. Followed closely by a variety of other things. The italians even borrowed a pizzaria to make three huge pizzas. It was all very good.

Overall it was a very hectic end of the last week. I'm feeling rather behind as a track down one bug after another in my programs. So back to work for Karen.
