And another group goes on strike

Yep that's right more people on strike in the UK for lots and lots of money. Not that I truely blame them, the pay gap here is pretty large between the better off and the normal people. Most people make between 16000-22000 a year, and then you get this jump to about 50000 a year or so, quite interesting. It is probably because so much of the population works for the government in one way or another. Anyway, so now they've all decided that they want more money. The fire service goes on strike tomorrow, and just in time for the holidays the security/firemen at all of the airports are going on strike several different times between now and Christmas. They intend to shut the entire air transport system down on the 28th of November, the 2nd, 10th, 15th, and 23rd of December and the 2nd of January. GRRR, I'm waiting for the crowds to turn on the picketers, but knowing the Brits they'll just que patiently. And to top it off the ATC unions want to strike as well.

THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HATE PUBLIC TRANSPORT!!!!!

The good news is that it doesn't look like my flights will be directly affected, but who knows.
