Happy New Year
I must of been oblivious last year, but Europeans are big New Year people. Everywhere I go people are greeting me with "happy new year" Bewildered I reply with a half-hearted "happy new year." Maybe I'm just imagining it, but everyone here seems really into the whole new year thing. Just one more oddity :) So to show my flexibilty, I've started prempting people by wishing them a happy new year first.
