DIY Weekend
Well this was a rather DIY weekend. It all started on Saturday morning when I went over to "The Great Frame-up" to finsih framing the print that Brian gave me for my birthday. It was a lot of fun. All of the parts were cut and all I had to do was put it all together.
Then after lunch we headed out to Target to see if we could find something to complete our Target living room set :) We ended up getting two Q-bits rectangular boxes which we stacked to form an entertainment center of sorts. It worked out really well until we noticed that although the pictures on the packaging showed them being used for electroncis there actually wasn't any were for the wires to come out the back. And we have LOTS of wires. So we thought the only sensible thing to do would be to drill a hole in the back and shove the wires through. Great plan.
The only drawback is that we don't actually own a drill. So in that great DIY tradition. We used the project as an excuse to buy a drill. So one dirll, and drill bits later with a liberal amount of saw dust inbetween and we have a lovely entertainment center. I've included some pictures below for your enjoyment.
