Burton-on-the-water

Well we didn't end up going to Wales in the end because the weather report was so dire. Instead we took a day trip to the Cotswolds (gently rolling hills about an hour west of here) and hiked around this cute little village named Burton-on-the-water, which is not to be confused with the 50 other Burton-on/near/of-somethingelse. We had very nice weather and a good time.

Sunday we stayed clost to home and mad the little purple car nice and shiny so that when I go to sell it, I can get more money. Then we went down to Aspley Guise's open garden's weekend. Where avid gardeners open up their gardens to the public and allow us to gape at their creations. Boy can the English garden. It was absolutely amazing, some of these people must spend every waking minute working in their garden.
